3 nights in Los Angeles is the typical stay for patients from out of town. We have a 2 day program in some cases as well. Patients do not need to stay overnight in the surgery center since the procedure is outpatient, however patients will get to enjoy 3 nights in a nearby Los Angeles or Beverly Hills Hotel.
The NANO procedure transforms the spine surgery experience. No cutting, no drilling, no scarring. A 4mm opening — the size of a pencil eraser. Patients walk out the same day under local anesthesia with IV sedation.
Consultation & Procedure
Meet with your neurosurgeon for final evaluation. The NANO procedure takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. You walk out the same day — no stitches, just a band-aid over the 4mm opening.
Recovery Day
Light walking is encouraged. Most patients feel significantly better than before the procedure. Enjoy your stay in Los Angeles or Beverly Hills.

Travel home. Continue light daily activities. Many patients return to desk work within days. Full activity typically resumes in 2–4 weeks.
